Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, also known as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American actress, singer impersonator comedian and radio personality known also as the daughter of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and the mother of comic Raul Vale. In 1973, she was credited as the person who launched the La Balada Ranchera (Ranchera Ballad) music genre, which reached the top of the charts, making Angelica Maria the first Latin performer to make 2 million copies of her music in the United States.
